Grant Redvers
Our Key Note Speaker for this year is Grant Redvers. Grant is a native of New Zealand and has a masters degree in environmental science. He spent three seasons as a scientific technician at Scott Base in Antarctica and participated in earlier Tara expeditions to the Antarctic Peninsula in 2005, to South Georgia in 2005 and 2006 and to Patagonia in 2006. He was Chief of the Tara Arctic Expedition from its beginning in the summer of 2006 until it came home in January, 2008.
EIANZ 2010 Merit and Service Awards: The Institute bestows a number of Merit and Service Awards each year to recognise outstanding service to the Institute and contribution to environmental practice. We encourage those who know of practitioners making such contributions to complete a nomination form so that these people are given due recognition by their peers. The awards are presented each year at the Annual Gala Dinner.

The Simon Molesworth Award is for Outstanding Service to the Institute at Institute Level. The winner receives a $1,000 cash prize and a trophy in recognition of their contribution. Click here to download a nomination form.
The Mary Lou Morris Award is for Outstanding Service to the Institute at Divisional or Chapter Level. The winner receives a $1,000 cash prize and a trophy in recognition of their contribution. Click here to download a nomination form.
The Tor Hundloe Award is for the Young Environmental Professional of the Year (under 30 years of age). The winner receives a $1,000 cash prize and a trophy in recognition of their contribution. Click here to download a nomination form.
The Eric Anderson Award is for the Outstanding Article in the Australasian Journal of Environmental Management for the past year. The winner(s) receives a $1,000 cash prize and a trophy in recognition of their contribution. This award is judged by a panel of editors of the Journal.
The Certified Environmental Practioner (CEnvP) of the Year Award. The winner receives a $1,000 cash prize and a trophy in recognition of their contribution. Click here to download a nomination form.
The EIANZ Award for Excellence in Professional Practice by a Small to Medium Company (less than 100 employees) recognises the contributions of small companies to the environment profession. The winner of this award receives a trophy, certificate and a full page advertisement in the Australasian Journal of Environmental Management and the Environmental Practitioner. This award attracts a nomination fee of $90.00. Click here to download a nomination form.
The EIANZ Award for Excellence in Professional Practice by a Large Company (more than 100 employees) recognises the contributions of large companies to the environment profession. The winner of this award receives a trophy, certificate and a full page advertisement in the Australasian Journal of Environmental Management and the Environmental Practitioner.
