With over 40 years in the environmental sector, Peri has made significant contributions to environmental knowledge in South Australia and internationally, particularly across wetlands, coastal, estuarine, saltmarsh, salt-lake and salt-field ecosystems. In recognition of her outstanding contribution to the profession, Peri was awarded an EIANZ Honorary Fellowship in 2025.
