If you would like to The Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand is proud to present an online workshop which will provide Impact Assessment (IA) practitioners with the thinking and writing skills to present data and reach conclusions in a clear evidence-based manner.
This workshop is targeted to practitioners who are working in government, consultancy and industry, and any other environmental professionals who prepare IA reports.
Please note this workshop will run over for 4 half days.

This session will equip you for your more difficult conversations, providing practical and tactical advice on how to prepare, how to listen, and what to ask to help your colleagues and clients move towards the answer that you want. In this workshop Dr Kimberley Swords, former Deputy Secretary in the Australian Environment Department and McKinsey Associate Partner will share practical tips and tricks, and help you practice & better prepare for these conversations in this safe and engaging online workshop.

Read MoreThe reality of working in the environment is sometimes not as glamourous as we hoped when we did our degrees and got our first jobs in nature and biodiversity!
The practical reality is often a constant stream of pressures, deadlines and negotiations. Our work requires that we take on difficult challenges with our clients, our people and the sectors we serve. But we can be better, and it can be easier!
We acknowledge and value the rights and interests of Indigenous Peoples in the protection and management of environmental values through their involvement in decisions and processes, and the application of traditional Indigenous knowledge.
