Are you interested in helping make decisions which shape and enhance environmental, economic and social outcomes for communities in NSW?
You will help with the management of whole-of-government environmental assessments of complex and high-profile State Significant Developments, Infrastructure and projects. This will involve working in a small team of planners, engineers and scientists and liaising with a range of proponents, key Government agencies, community stakeholders and technical experts to consider key social and environmental issues.

About You
You will be managing and assessing complex applications at various stages throughout the planning process such as solar farms, coal mines and quarries, industrial warehouses, schools, hospitals, aged care facilities, large-scale infrastructure and other State Significant Developments including infrastructure management post approvals. You will liaise with applicants, stakeholders, other government departments and councils to fast-track development applications and write quality outcome and development assessment reports, briefing notes and effective conditions of consent.
