Mark Williamson is a leader in the environment profession in Australia. He has held senior roles in the renewable energy and environment sectors at all levels of government and the private sector. He is an Executive General Manager at the Clean Energy Regulator and has previously led the operations of the Queensland Environment Protection Agency after moving north from Victoria.
Mark is a long-standing member of the EIANZ and has held senior and influential positions in the Institute, including as President of the ACT Division and as vice-president of the South-east Queensland Division. In these roles, and as part of the Institute’s former governing Council, Mark contributed significantly to major projects for the profession and for the governance and strategic direction of the Institute.
Mark continues to mentor emerging and mid-career practitioners, as he leads important work that accelerates the renewable energy transition.
