Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead the planning, delivery, and successful completion of environmental projects from initiation through to close. This role is responsible for managing project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and risks to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with project teams, clients, and key stakeholders, the Senior Project Manager provides leadership across all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring outcomes align with organisational objectives and best-practice environmental standards. Experience managing environmental projects, understanding regulatory requirements, and applying sustainable practices is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all deliverables are delivered on time, within scope and budget
  • Oversee project teams and resources, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to achieve high-performance outcomes
  • Own and continuously improve project planning, governance, and reporting processes to ensure efficiency and consistency
  • Manage key client projects, maintaining delivery excellence, risk control, and strong commercial performance
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment of expectations
  • Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and drive innovation in project delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Project Management or related dicsipline or equivalent demonstrated experience 
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management, business development initiatives and managing a diverse project portfolio
  • Demonstrated leadership capability with strong communication, motivational and organisational skills
  • Well-developed ability to interpret and clearly explain complex technical information to a range of audiences, including clients and internal stakeholders
  • Strong people management and emotional intelligence skills, with the ability to engage others, positively influence culture and provide clear direction
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or similar).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
