Every day, our team are contributing to outstanding outcomes on some of the country’s highest profile renewable energy projects including wind farms, grid scale batteries, pumped hydro schemes, solar farms and hydrogen production and transportation projects.

On the back of our continued success and a strong backlog of upcoming projects we are looking to hire a Senior / Principal Planner or Environmental Planner to join our environmental assessment, planning and approvals team.

As our ideal candidate you will have:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the renewables sector including management of approvals processes for major renewables projects or transferable experience from the broader energy sector.
  • Significant experience providing planning, approvals and environmental assessment advice across a range of infrastructure projects including strong previous exposure to the energy sector.
  • Expertise regarding the regulatory frameworks related to renewable energy project development in Queensland including relevant Commonwealth legislation and policy. Knowledge and experience in other States also highly regarded.
  • Strong contacts across the renewable energy sector and a solid reputation with a network of previous clients.
  • Experience in a technical consulting environment including exposure to key aspects of proposal preparation, client engagement and project management.
  • Ability to deliver high quality reporting and other project deliverables with minimal oversight.
  • Strong technical understanding of the key aspects of renewable energy development, typical project impacts and best practice mitigation strategies.
  • Relevant qualifications in planning or a related discipline.
