The Senior EMS Advisor (Central) is a critical team member, responsible for the implementation of the North East Link Project's Central Package Environmental Management System (EMS). This system ensures compliance against the relevant environmental, heritage and planning approval conditions and project obligations for NELP. Working collaboratively with the EMS Manager, and as part of a multi-disciplinary project team through delivery of North East Link Project's Primary Package, this role will see you ensure obligations outlined in NELP's approved Environmental Management Framework and Environmental Performance Requirements are consistently met.
Reporting to the Planning & Environment Delivery Lead, this role will be responsible for the collection and management of information to ensure corrective actions are implemented with a focus on continuous improvement. This role will be located primarily within the Delivery team, whilst also working closely with the Land, Planning and Environment team as part of a matrix structure.

You'll have a solid understanding of the environment aspects relating to the project and thrive in a data heavy role that values continuous improvement. You'll understand the broader project objectives and take pride in the fact that you will be contributing to NELP meeting our environmental obligations. As part of a close knit, committed team you will be fully supported whilst being empowered to operate autonomously and have a close connection to range of subject matter experts without foregoing the social elements, essential for a balanced working life.
