The Role
AECOM’s Melbourne based Air Quality team working within the Environment Group has an exciting opportunity for an Air Quality Specialist / Scientist / Engineer.
As part of a large, multi-disciplinary organisation, this role will not only offer you the opportunity to work alongside our team of air quality specialists, both locally and across ANZ on standalone air quality projects, but will also enable you to collaborate with the wider AECOM network, giving you a broad exposure to a multitude of high profile and world-class projects.
Working with a high performing team of scientists and engineers you will be capable of technical delivery of air quality impact assessment and monitoring projects in addition to project management.
The opportunity with AECOM is for a Professional or Senior level air quality specialist to lead air quality projects from initiation to delivery under the support of senior staff. AECOM is looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal and collaborative skills who has the ability to work effectively within a team and independently and enjoys working with clients to help them achieve their goals.
This role will offer experience across all elements of air quality consulting, including client management and the development and submission of proposals for air quality projects across Australia (with a focus on Victoria and South Australia). The role offers the ability to support the AECOM ANZ air quality group on projects within Australia and internationally. In addition to air quality, this role provides the opportunity to work in greenhouse gas and carbon accounting, supporting both AECOM’s Air Quality and Sustainability and Resilience teams.
