The Opportunity
An opportunity exists in our Orewa office for a Freshwater Ecologist to support the company's environmental team over the full range of environmental activities including client liaison, field and office analysis, reporting and assessments. In this role you will be responsible for providing input into ecological aspects of resource consent applications and environmental impact assessments relating to stream classification, wetland, riparian and bush restoration/ enhancement. There will also be the opportunity to be involved in the preparation of resource consent applications relating to rural subdivisions, environmental protection /enhancement proposals. The role provides an excellent opportunity to work, develop and broaden your skills under the guidance and mentoring of our highly experienced Environmental Director

About You
You should have at least a Bachelor’s degree in ecology, environmental science or a related field and at least 3 years NZ experience.

Location: Orewa, North Auckland
Hours: Preferred hours are 40 hours per week Monday to Friday (flexibility an option)
