The opportunity:

Due to growth, we are growing our environmental management team and seeking motivated and enthusiastic Environmental Scientists at various stages in their career. Reporting into the Regional Manager, Consultants undertake a variety of project, desk based and field work. You will work with a team of industry leaders and be mentored to develop and grow your career and experience.

Our consultants work across a broad range of market sectors, including renewables, infrastructure, utilities, government, waste management, and resource extraction (quarries, mining) and are seen as true advisors of the business and our clients in relation to environmental management, monitoring, and related environmental disciplines.

Any day may see you:

  • Complete technical project work, desk based and field work.
  • Post-approval environmental management plan development and implementation oversight.
  • Environmental monitoring projects (land, water, air, noise), including contaminated land management.
  • Conduct site inspections of projects under construction, and of operational sites and facilities.
  • Review and where required certify audit and assurance reporting deliverables.
  • Review, prepare and implement Environmental Management Plans and delivery environmental monitoring programs.
  • Ensure the safe delivery of client on-site engagements.

What we’re looking for:

This is an excellent career opportunity for an Environmental Scientist looking for the next step in their career. Ideally, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science/Engineering or related Environmental Management field.
  • Knowledge of soil and water contaminants and remediation strategies.
  • A team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Is technically competent, with a desire to continually learn and grow experience.
  • Experienced in the review and preparation and/or implementation of Environmental Management Plans and delivery environmental monitoring programs.
  • Experienced with Environmental Management Systems, including digital environmental data collation, analysis and review, and GIS platforms.
