Be part of a transformative infrastructure project for Victoria, with an exciting role in the North East Link Program's Land, Planning and Environment team.
Reporting to the Manager, Arboriculture and Ecology, the Environment Advisor is responsible for the provision of specialist environmental advice, assisting in the management of project approvals, review of contractor environmental management documentation, and compliance of the delivery for the North East Link Program.
This role proactively reviews works and documentation and advises the business on potential risks and opportunities throughout the approvals and compliance processes as well as conducting site inspections and participating in contractor audits. Use your influencing and negotiating skills to gain outcomes across a range of environmental issues through mitigation and management responses.
About You
Having a solid understanding of the environment aspects relating to the Project will hold you in good stead and enable you to navigate the relevant environmental, planning and approvals legislation and requirements that NELP operates in accordance with.
