We're looking for someone with an ecology, biodiversity, or environmental science degree who is excited to step into the growing world of natural capital - whether you’ve already had some exposure or are eager to transition.

In this role you will:

  • Support our corporate clients to source and secure Biodiversity Offset Credits under the NSW Biodiversity Offsetting Scheme (BOS) to support their project and development programs.
  • Support our landholder clients to supply their Biodiversity Offset Credits to the NSW BOS market.
  • Coordinate and manage stakeholder engagement/marketing activities specifically related to natural capital and environmental offsets projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including Niche landholder and corporate clients and Biodiversity Offset Scheme regulators.
  • Manage and contribute to all aspects of project work including data management and analysis, preparation of proposals, reports, presentations and communications (including administrative tasks).
  • Contribute to the development of strategies for communicating the value and importance of natural capital and offsets in achieving environmental sustainability.
  • Support the broader Natural Capital team in development of Carbon and other Natural Capital projects as required.

What we’re looking for

  • Demonstrated experience in the NSW Biodiversity Offset Scheme and experience/interest in the natural capital, environmental markets, or sustainability sectors
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects, manage timelines, and engage diverse stakeholders effectively
  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience in, administration and/or commercial leadership to support our technical team and our corporate and landholder clients to navigate biodiversity and potentially carbon and natural capital markets
  • A keen understanding of natural capital and the role of market-based solutions such as, biodiversity offsets, carbon credits and ecosystem service markets
  • A commitment to the highest level of confidentiality and integrity when operating for and on behalf of our corporate and landholder clients
  • Experience in project coordination, stakeholder engagement, or environmental consulting is highly desirable
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Full Australian working rights and a valid driver’s licence
