Boffa Miskell is a leading New Zealand professional services consultancy, focused on better outcomes for our environment. We are entirely employee-owned with a diverse portfolio of clients and projects. Our mix of disciplines is ideally placed to respond to the challenges of climate change, providing for transitional approaches to urban planning and design, coastal and riparian adaptation, conservation management, renewable energy, and rural land management.
To further our capability and expertise in addressing the challenges of climate change, we’re looking for a climate change specialist to join us in a leadership role. You’ll be joining a team who is curious, supportive, and aspirational, and who deliver a wide range of industry leading projects throughout New Zealand. Your involvement in this challenging and diverse work will provide you with opportunities to deepen your professional experience and allow you to make a meaningful and valued contribution to the wider Boffa Miskell team, our clients, and New Zealand’s environment. Location is not a barrier, as this role can be based in any of our New Zealand offices.
As a key member of our team, you’ll be tasked with positively influencing change across our organisation. You’ll be the driver of our Climate Change Action Plan, as well as the leader of our Climate Change Working Group. We’re looking for someone who can provide expert advice both internally and externally –someone who’s comfortable working with clients and developing business through their own networks, and also able to work alongside our consulting team to share their knowledge and to further develop our own internal expertise.
You’ll be passionate and knowledgeable about climate change, and well-connected within the industry, as well as having the following skills, attributes, and experience:
We offer a supportive and collaborative environment, and our mahi kōkēi initiative enables our team to have greater flexibility around working remotely. We have an inclusive and diverse workplace and offer ongoing opportunities for professional and personal development to ensure our people can excel and grow. If this sounds like your next career move, we look forward to hearing from you.
