We’re looking for someone with your passion and deep expertise in Queensland. You’ll play a key role in shaping our Queensland strategy, building new business and creating opportunities to deliver innovation and positive out outcomes for our communities clients across the mining sector.

You’ll lead complex approval processes (Environmental Impact Statements, Environmental Authorities and secondary approvals) for coordinated, prescribed and other state significant projects. You’ll work with an outstanding team of technical specialists to deliver high quality outcomes and innovation for a diverse range of mining & critical minerals projects. Most importantly, you’ll have a voice and plenty of support and opportunity to influence, shape and grow our Queensland practice.

Here’s what you’ll bring to have impact:

• You’ll have significant experience in leading large and complex multi-disciplinary mining approval projects in Queensland
• A deep understanding of environmental and statutory approval frameworks at a QLD State and Commonwealth level and demonstrated success in advising on approval strategies and approval delivery for major projects
• Contemporary knowledge of global mining markets, growth opportunities and the current trends for the mining sector in Queensland · You’ve developed deep relationships and networks across the mining industry, with regulators
• You’ve built an outstanding reputation for delivering high quality outcomes with integrity, innovation and dedication
