This is a 6-month poistion based in Wellington, New Zealand
We are looking for an Advisor to join our team on a fixed term basis to assist us with the processing of applications under the Exclusive Economic Zone and Continental Shelf (Environmental Effects) Act 2012, and Resource Management Act 1991 and other resource management legislation.
You will be exposed to a wide range of opportunities in this role. This includes supporting Senior Advisors with the processing of applications in a timely manner and in accordance with statutory requirements, maintaining good stakeholder relationships, website communications and undertaking procurement for services and contract management.

We are looking for someone with a range of skills and experience – if you have some or all of the below, we would love to hear from you.
* A tertiary qualification, preferably specialising in resource management, natural sciences or a related field
* Clear, concise written and oral communication
* Ability to work under pressure, set priorities and achieve results in tight deadlines
* Good level of MS Office application skills
* A positive ‘can do’ attitude
* Ability to relate to a wide range of people
* Able to focus on details under pressure
* GIS experience is desirable
