He regularly leads salary benchmarking studies and market insights for sustainability and environment professionals, providing evidence-based guidance on pay trends, career progression and emerging skill shortages.

As the author of Talent Nation’s ESG, Environment and Sustainability Remuneration & Sector Insights Report, Richard provides evidence-based guidance on pay trends, career progression and emerging skill shortages, as well as real-time insights on the broader environmental employment market. Since 2012, his team has worked with more than a third of the ASX100, as well as government and large private entities, to support the design, establishment and evolution of ESG, environment and sustainability teams.

Richard holds a Bachelor of Forestry Science, a Master of Engineering, and an MBA from Melbourne Business School.
