On 11 November 2025, the NSW Parliament passed the Environmental Planning and Assessment Amendment Act 2025, introducing significant changes to how housing, infrastructure, and energy projects are assessed across NSW. These reforms represent one of the most substantial shifts to the planning system in recent years, with implications for environmental practitioners working across government, consulting and industries.
Join us for a webinar to hear from the NSW Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (DPHI) on the key legislative changes, and how to navigate the updated assessment framework.
We will explore the updated objects of the EP&A Act, which prioritises housing supply and climate resilience, the modification pathways including faster turnaround times, and the establishment of the Development Coordination Authority as a single point of contact for integrated development.
