Webinar | NSW DPHI Social Impact Assessment guideline – Updated requirements

About the webinar

Hosted by DPHI and supported by EIANZ, this webinar will provide EIANZ members with an overview of the March 2026 refinement to the Social Impact Assessment (SIA) Guideline, including:

  • What the refinements mean for who is considered ‘suitably qualified’ for NSW State significant projects
  • How the refinements reflect a broader approach to the use of experts in state significant projects
  • Implications for SIA practitioners, proponents and EIS managers engaging SIA practitioners
  • Considerations for Registered Environmental Assessment Practitioners (REAPs) signing off Environmental Impact Statements (EISs) for NSW State significant projects

Our goal is to deliver a practical and engaging session that helps SIA practitioners apply current requirements with confidence.
