EIANZ's WA Division is pleased to deliver a briefing session with the Department of Mines, Petroleum and Exploration (DMPE) on the implementation of the new Mining Development and Closure Proposal (MDCP) and Approvals Statement framework.
This webinar provides practical insights into how the new framework is progressing and offers valuable guidance to improve the quality and efficiency of your submissions.

This event will run off Australian Western Standard Time (AWST) and will run for 1 hour. This webinar will be recorded and the recording will be made available to all registered attendees in the days after the webinar.
Laura Sprenkels | Acting General Manager – Mining Environmental Compliance
Laura is an environmental regulation specialist with experience in risk and outcomes-based regulation. She has over 13 years’ experience at the Department of Mines, Petroleum and Exploration. Currently Laura works as General Manager Mining Environmental Compliance branch and manages a passionate group of Team Leaders and Environmental Officers to undertake environmental approval and compliance functions under the Mining Act 1978 for exploration and mining activities across Western Australia.
Her greatest achievements to date is project managing the development and implementation of the Mining Development and Closure Proposal and Approvals Statement framework.
