Navigating environmental approvals in WA can be quite a confusing exercise. In this webinar designed for early career environmental practitioners and students, we will explain the different levels of approvals required for development projects and infrastructure in WA, as well as the State and Commonwealth legislation that drives the process.

Tahlia Walsh | Senior Approvals Advisor, Rio Tinto Iron Ore (CEnvP)
Tahlia Walsh is a Certified Environmental Practitioner and Secretary of EIANZ WA Division. She has over 15 years’ experience within the environmental space in the resource industry and has worked on gold, nickel, iron ore, oil and gas projects all over the state. She currently works as a Senior Approvals Advisor for Rio Tinto Iron Ore and is extremely passionate about her role within the company and with EIANZ.
This webinar is specifically designed for early career environmental practitioners and students. You will come away with a basic understanding of the environmental approvals required in WA and how the approvals process aim to protect the environment in which we are working.
