SA | EIANZ SA Divison 2026 AGM

Please join the committee, other members and guests at the SA Division’s AGM, with a special presentation by our guest speakers Alex Nankivell and Dan Leinfelder.

Alex and Dan will take attendees on the journey of the amazing conservation programs being delivered by Nature Foundation across South Australia, and some insights into how developers can work with Nature Foundation to achieve and deliver meaningful environmental offsets.

Both the Native Vegetation Act and the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act provide legislative frameworks for achieving environmental offsets where required. One available mechanism for proponents to meet their requirements is through the use of accredited third-party offset providers. Nature Foundation represent one of the few accredited providers in SA.

They maintain existing nature reserves where offset credits are available and are always seeking opportunities to expand their overall estate to protect more of the state’s conservation significant species. Alex and Dan will provide some case study examples of existing offsets and share some learnings around how developers, regulators and consultants alike can best engage with Nature Foundation to achieve positive environmental outcomes from projects.
