Join the EIANZ Student and Early Careers section of the NZ Chapter for a rewarding day out and about as we lend a hand in restoring the native habitats of Motutapu Island with Motutapu Island Restoration Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with nature, meet fellow environmental enthusiasts, and make a tangible difference in one of Auckland’s most scenic spots.
Spend the day, with other student and early career environmental practitioners, planting native trees and learning about the island’s unique ecology and conservation efforts. Tools and materials will be provided, so just bring your enthusiasm, sun protection, sturdy footwear, and a packed lunch!
Delegates will meet at the Downtown ferry terminal at 8:45am to catch the 9:15am ferry to Rangitoto and returning on the 4:00pm ferry arriving back at the Downtown ferry terminal at 4:30pm. Ferry tickets are included in your registration.
Spaces are limited and registration is essential. Don’t miss this chance to contribute!
