All EIANZ NZ Chapter members are invited to the NZ Chapter 2026 Annual General Meeting to be held on Thursday 13 August 2026 at the offices of Tonkin + Taylor, at 1 Fanshawe Street, Auckland, 1010 and online via Zoom for those unable to make the event in person. The AGM will be followed by a panel presentation which will focus on the RMA reform package. Your Zoom link will be sent in your registration confirmation email. Please check your spam or junk folder if it has yet to arrive into your inbox.
The panel will focus on the RMA reform package, particularly the Planning Bill and Natural Environment Bill, or the resulting Acts if enacted by then. The discussion will focus on what these reforms may mean for environmental practice, planning, spatial planning and technical specialists.

This is a very timely and relevant session for all members, particularly given how fresh the reforms will be at that point.
The term of office of all currently elected officers of the Institute will expire at the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting. Nominations are called for the following positions for the period 2026 to 2027.
Only current financial members are eligible to nominate for these positions. All nominations must be endorsed by two EIANZ Full Members or Fellows.
Nominations can be made by completing a nomination form and forwarding it to the Returning Officer, Craig Redmond at craig.redmond@aecom.com to arrive no later than 12 August 2026 or be presented at the commencement of the meeting.
In the event of more than one nomination being received for any one position, a ballot will be held at the AGM.

If you are unable to attend the AGM Members may appoint a proxy to vote on their behalf. The proxy form should be completed and either emailed to Craig Redmond by 12 August or presented at the commencement of the meeting.
