We are delighted to invite all EIANZ members in NSW to the 2026 Annual General Meeting to be held commencing from 6pm on Monday 11 August. The AGM provides a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our year's successes and enables member participation in guiding EIANZ NSW's strategic direction. Prior to official AGM business, we're excited to welcome our guest speakers for the evening, Clay Preshaw and Matt Riley, from the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure, who will discuss the Planning System Reform currently underway, with a focus on the role of the Development Coordination Authority.
As always, the committee warmly invites interest from our NSW members to nominate themselves to become members of the NSW Division Committee in either a formal or informal capacity. Contribute your ideas and bring your energy to shape the Division's activities and focus over the next year.
The terms of all currently elected officers of the NSW Division committee will expire at the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting. Nominations will be called for the following office bearers for the period 2026 to 2027:
Only current financial members are eligible to vote and nominate for these positions. All nominations must be endorsed by two EIANZ Full Members or Fellows.
Please return the nomination form and/or proxy form to Greg Marshall (NSW Division Secretary, as Returning Officer) at nsw@eianz.org by no later than 6pm AEST Sunday 9 August 2026. Feel free to reach out to Greg for any questions regarding the AGM via the same email.
We're pleased to welcome Clay Preshaw and Matt Riley, from the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure, who will discuss the Planning System Reform generally, with a focus on the role of the Development Coordination Authority (DCA). They will speak to the generational planning reforms currently underway: what has driven them, and where they're headed.
To assist in managing the meeting and to obtain a quorum, we ask that members register to attend. Register now by clicking ‘Submit’ in the blue box below.
