Professional mentoring is a powerful tool for environmental professionals at any stage of their career. For students and early career practitioners seeking to further their professional development, mentoring can be invaluable in helping to realise the steps to growth, and as a support in navigating tricky workplace dilemmas where the right choice is not always clear. Please note that while employment opportunities may naturally arise as you build your networks, this program is designed to support professional guidance and development. It is not intended as an employment or job-seeking program.

The program is free for mentees who are EIANZ members and $75 for mentees who are not EIANZ members.

Registration is a 2-part process

2. Complete the Mentoring Pairing Survey here →

You need to complete both parts of the registration process on or before Friday 13 March 2026 to be considered for this program.

We will notify successful mentoring pairs by late March 2026. Priority may be given to EIANZ members during the matching process. Please be mindful that experienced professionals have generously volunteered their time to participate in the Mentoring Program and that availability is limited. In applying through this survey, you are making an active commitment to participateion in the program should you be successful.

Please note that registration payment does not guarantee a mentoring match. If you are not successfully paired, mentees who paid a registration fee will receive a refund.
