You have spent years building professional expertise, deep field relationships, and an identity grounded in environmental stewardship. That identity is now under direct pressure from accelerating AI adoption, shifting business expectations, and a team looking to you for direction nobody has handed you. This webinar is for leaders who are ready to face that reality clearly and develop the capability it demands.
Most AI leadership programs focus on policy, governance, and risk management. That is necessary; however, it is not sufficient. AI does not simply automate tasks: it amplifies whatever operating system is already running in your organisation. A team under pressure becomes a team under more pressure, faster. A leader without strategic clarity creates a vacuum that their team fills with their own judgment. Programmes that only address the technology layer and leave the human layer and the leadership layer entirely untouched.
In co-design sessions with EIANZ graduates, one participant described AI-generated content reaching ministerial level, which is factually incorrect, unchecked, and undisclosed. The tool was not the problem. The policy vacuum, the absence of standards, and the leader who had not yet developed the capability to evaluate AI-assisted work were the problems. That gap is what this session addresses.
Drawing on 27 years of leadership development and 12 months working directly inside your sector, including eleven cohorts and over 150 EIANZ AI Black Belt graduates, Bruce Ross will work through the three dimensions of AI-ready leadership:
This is not a personal development program. It is a practical examination of the commercial, organisational, and human dimensions of leading in an AI world, which will equip a leader to do it well.
This webinar serves as the introduction to the Leadership AI Readiness program (Leadership L1), a four-session series running in June 2026. No technical prerequisite. Designed for leaders who need to lead the AI era. For those who want to go deep into technical application, the Advanced AI Practitioner programme runs separately.
Open to all leaders in any sector. If someone in your network leads a team and is feeling the pressure of this moment, this conversation is for them
Somewhere in your team, someone is already producing work with AI that you will be asked to sign off. Most AI leadership programs tell you to write a policy about it. This session teaches you something harder: how to evaluate it, direct it, and lead from the front when the ground is moving.
Bruce Ross is a Leadership Development specialist and Executive Coach with over 27 years of experience. He has delivered MBA-level programs, trained at Auckland University, and worked with organisations like Xero, Auckland Airport, and the Institute of Directors.
As AI emerged, Bruce recognised its potential to unlock new levels of human performance. Over the past 15+ months, he has trained multiple groups/organisations, including delivering a very popular AI session to EIANZ in October 2024. He now returns to take members and stakeholders deeper into practical, applied Artificial Intelligence.
