Meet the speakers:
David Gatfield | Ecology Manager at Umwelt
As the QLD Ecology Manager at Umwelt, David has experience in managing offset projects across Queensland. His expertise lies in navigating the complexities of the EPBC Act and ensuring successful project approvals and readiness for implementation. Over the years, David has worked on various projects that focus on conservation outcomes, particularly for threatened species and communities. His approach involves setting up projects that meet regulatory requirements while achieving positive ecological results.
Zoe Biggs | Senior Environmental Planner at Green Tape Solutions
Zoe is a dedicated conservationist with over 10 years of experience in wildlife conservation across South Africa and Australia. Her background includes wildlife monitoring, ecological research, and reserve management, alongside involvement in community development initiatives. Zoe is a Senior Environmental Planner with Greentape Solutions and she has played a leading role in the conservation of threatened cycads at several wind farm developments in Queensland across all project stages. Her work has included overseeing horticultural care, long-term maintenance, and coordinating propagation efforts to ensure the survival of these significant plant species.
This event will run off Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT) and will run for 1 hour. This webinar will be recorded and the recording will be made available to all registered attendees in the days after the webinar.
