EIANZ WA members are invited to the 2023 WA Division AGM to be held on Wednesday 30 August 2023 at West Australian Rowing Club, 171 Birdiya Drive, Perth, beginning at 5:30pm concluding at 6:00pm.

The AGM will be followed by a guest speaker, light snacks, and some drinks. All of those wanting to attend the AGM who can’t make it in person are welcome to join the meeting via Teams.

Time:
5:30pm – 6:00pm | AGM
6:00pm - 6.30pm | Guest speaker - Ms Lee McIntosh, Deputy Chair, WA EPA
6.30pm - 7.30pm | Networking and nibbles.

The term of office of all currently elected officers of the EIANZ WA Division will expire at the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting. Nominations are called for any of the general Committee positions for the period 2023 to 2024.

• Vice-President
• Treasurer
• Secretary
• General Committee Member (under the following sub-committees)
• Events sub-committee member
• Early careers sub-committee member
• Membership and communications sub-committee member
• Advocacy sub-committee member

Only current financial members are eligible to nominate for these positions. All nominations must be endorsed by two EIANZ Full Members or Fellows.

Nominations can be made by completing a nomination form and forwarding it to wa@eianz.org to arrive no later than 3:00pm on Wednesday 30 August 2023 or be presented at the commencement of the meeting.

In the event of more than one nomination being received for any one position, a ballot will be held at the Annual General Meeting.

If the event that Full members or Fellow members are unable to attend the AGM they may appoint a proxy to vote on their behalf.

The proxy form should be completed and either emailed to the wa@eianz.org by 3:00pm on Wednesday 30 August 2023 or presented at the commencement of the meeting.
