EIANZ invites you to attend an information session designed to help members understand what Board appointment involves and navigate the nomination process with confidence. This session will provide valuable insights into Board responsibilities and offer the opportunity to ask questions directly with experienced Board members. Discover what it truly means to be part of the EIANZ Board and how you can contribute to shaping the future of environmental practice.

Nominations close: Wednesday, 1 October 2025

EIANZ conducts Board elections every two years and is currently seeking nominations for all seven positions:

• President
• Vice-President (Australia)
• Vice-President (New Zealand)
• Treasurer
• Secretary
• Two Ordinary Board Member positions

As a Board member, you will drive the decisions of the Institute and help shape the environment profession in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. Serving on the EIANZ Board is a unique opportunity to extend your professional skills, gain valuable experience, and make lasting connections with a team of passionate environmental professionals.

Who are we looking for?

The EIANZ Board functions best when it brings together diverse perspectives, experience, and skills from across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. The Institute seeks experienced, driven, and passionate collaborators ready to serve a two-year term commencing 26 November 2025.

Before nominating, candidates are strongly encouraged to review the EIANZ Board duties and expectations to fully understand the commitment and responsibilities involved.

This event will run off Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) and will run for 1 hour.
