Infrastructure and development workshop

Join us to explore the proposed reforms related to infrastructure and urban development under the RMA. This session will focus on how the changes may impact planning, housing, transport, and growth strategies. We’ll work together to identify key issues, opportunities, and recommendations for our submission. Please review the relevant policy documents and discussion questions in advance.
Freshwater management workshop
Date: 30 June 2025 | Time: 5:30pm – 7:00pm
This workshop will delve into the Government’s proposed changes to freshwater management, including allocation, quality standards, and ecosystem health. We’ll discuss the implications for environmental practitioners and develop a coordinated response. Participants are expected to come prepared, having read the relevant materials beforehand.
Primary sector and rural land use workshop
Date: 2 July 2025 | Time: 5:30pm – 7:00pm
In this session, we’ll examine the proposed reforms affecting agriculture, forestry, and rural land use. The discussion will focus on balancing productivity with environmental outcomes and the practical implications for land managers and planners. Please ensure you’ve reviewed the policy documents and guiding questions prior to attending.
This event will run off Aotearoa New Zealand Standard Time (NZST) and will run for 1.5 hours per session.
