Join us for an exciting behind-the-scenes tour of Hill Labs in Hamilton, created especially for students and early-career professionals in their first five years of industry experience interested in environmental science and laboratory testing.

Follow the full journey of a sample, from arrival and processing through to analysis and results. Experienced laboratory professionals will show us how testing can reveal valuable information about soil and water quality, identify contaminants such as PFAS, and detect organisms through eDNA analysis.

The tour will also provide an opportunity to learn more about the different career pathways within a commercial laboratory and how laboratory technicians, environmental consultants, and regulators can work together to turn data into useful environmental information.

After the tour, we’ll head to Good George for a relaxed social catch up with nibbles provided by Hill Labs.
