Manager – Natural Capital Strategy, Niche Environment and Heritage

Simon’s NRM career spans 20 years working across private, government and NGO sectors. Simon is an accredited assessor under the NSW Biodiversity Offset Scheme and an Accredited expert under the Accounting for Nature Framework.

As the move towards nature-positive sees nature repair markets gather momentum, Niche are exploring opportunities for projects under the various frameworks to optimise outcomes for clients and nature.

Environmental Sustainability Organisational Lead, Wollongong City Council.

Mitch is an experienced sustainability professional working in Local Government climate action. With a background in sustainability and energy management, Mitch leads the development and delivery of organisational sustainability strategy across Council operations while also supporting the broader community to reduce emissions. His role focuses on policy development, project management, and driving initiatives that accelerate the transition to clean energy and climate resilience at a regional scale.
