Join us in South East NSW (Tathra) for an insightful panel discussion on the topic: ‘Artificial Intelligence: A disruptor of our environmental industry?’
This event will feature an engaging group of government, academic and industry leaders to explore the role of AI in the environmental sector. The discussion will delve into the potential benefits, challenges, and opportunities AI presents, particularly in areas such as geospatial mapping and analysis, planning applications and community impact assessments.
This panel discussion is part of Enviro Drinks in SE NSW, providing an excellent opportunity for industry professionals to network, exchange ideas, and build connections in a relaxed setting. The panel will be followed by the usual Enviro Drinks networking, giving you the opportunity to connect with other environmental professionals from across the region.
You will hear from the following speakers and panellists:
Each speaker will give a brief 10-minute presentation on opportunities that AI presents to our industry. This will be followed by 20-30 minutes of panel discussion.
The panel discussion will be facilitated by Brooke Marshall (CEnvP-IA, REAP), NGH’s NSW Practice Leader – Planning & Environmental Management.
This panel discussion is designed to deepen your understanding of the opportunities and risks associated with AI-driven tools in the environmental sector. You will come away with fresh ideas and insights on how AI is shaping the future of environmental work.
This is an in-person only event, to connect local environmental and heritage professionals from across South East NSW.
