This is the second webinar in our three-part webinar series which gives environmental practitioners a practical grounding in Australia's Nature Repair Market - the national biodiversity certificate scheme established under the Nature Repair Market Act.
This webinar will focus on PLANR and Practical Tools: Hands-on guidance on the platforms and tools supporting participation. Along with a look at the science that underpins the market.
Across three sessions, the series moves from policy and regulatory foundations, through the scientific methodology underpinning certificate integrity, to the tools and platforms used in practice - equipping ecologists and other professionals to engage with the Market with confidence.
Ian leads the digital and science systems underpinning Australia's Nature Repair Market, including the Platform for Nature Repair (PLANR.gov.au), the Ecological Knowledge System (EKS), the Agricultural Biodiversity Stewardship Pilots, the Innovative Biodiversity Monitoring grants, monitoring for the Nature Repair Market, and data and spatial analysis support.
Ian's work sits at the intersection of environmental policy, ecological science, and technical systems design, working closely with partners including CSIRO, ANU and the Clean Energy Regulator and other research organisations to ensure the systems supporting nature repair are scientifically robust, user-friendly, and fit for purpose as the market matures.
This webinar will run on Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT) and will be recorded. A link to the recording will be sent to all registered delegates in the days following the event.
