FNQ | Environmental insights from Central Queensland

The EIANZ Far North Queensland Division invites you to a series of technical presentations highlighting environmental projects and challenges in our region at this lunchtime networking event. This is a fully catered event and lunch will be provided for all registered attendees.

Connect and listen to expertise from local professionals working across Central and Northern Queensland over four presentations. The speakers include:

  • Julie Keene, Indigenous Program Manager NQBP | Working with Traditional Owners to manage our environment
  • Adam Heap, AGH | Rehabilitation in the Bowen Basin
  • Tim Dalton, Aurecon and Kylie Cauchi, Mackay Regional Council | Erosion and sediment control challenges in the Mackay region
  • Nancy Pratt, Pioneer Catchment Land Care | Projects in our backyard

This is an exciting opportunity to connect with your local environmental practitioners, share knowledge and celebrate the important work being done across our diverse landscapes. Whether you're in consultancy, government, research or industry, join us to learn, network and participate in discussions about shaping the region's future.

We welcome attendees to join us after the event at Red Dog Brewery's riverfront location to enjoy the Pioneer River views and continue the conversation. Drinks will be available for purchase at the bar.

We look forward to connecting with our local FNQ practitioners and hope to see you there!
