Great news for New Zealand students

Published 6 July 2016

Becoming a member of EIANZ provides students with invaluable networking opportunities and exposure to experienced professionals with wide ranging areas of expertise. It also gives access to mentors, the NZ Chapter Newsletter 'Stepping Up' and reduced fees to attend the EIANZ professional seminars which cover a wide range of environmental topics. Joining EIANZ is an important first step in any up and coming environmental practitioner’s career.

For a lot of students, budgets are often stretched to their limits with the essentials of living. To encourage students to invest in their career early on, EIANZ is trialling a pilot program in New Zealand. Student membership for those students who are studying in New Zealand and who are not earning a professional wage will be just $20.

The 2-year pilot program (1 July 2016 – 30 June 2018) will be monitored and reviewed with a view of potentially rolling it out Institute-wide if it proves successful.
