EIANZ Merit Awards 2021

The EIANZ Merit Awards recognise members and practitioners who have made an outstanding contribution to the Institute and the environment profession. This year’s awards were announced on Tuesday 16 November at the EIANZ 2021 Annual Conference.

Congratulations to this year’s winners:

Simon Molesworth Award

Awarded to: Fiona Gainsford FEIANZ, CEnvP (IA PLUS REAP)

This is the highest award bestowed by the Institute recognising outstanding service to the Institute at an Institute level.

Mary Lou Morris Award

Awarded to: Maria Pedicini MEIANZ, CEnvP

This award recognises a member of the Institute who has provided outstanding service to the Institute at a Division or Chapter level.

Tor Hundloe Award

Awarded to: Alex Prideaux MEIANZ

This award recognises outstanding contributions to the environment profession by a young professional EIANZ member.

Excellence in Environmental Practice Award

Awarded to: Luke Amies MEIANZ, CEnvP (SC)

This award recognises outstanding practice by an individual EIANZ member or non-member and is intended to be an exemplar for all environmental practitioners.

Resilience Award

Awarded to: Dan Lim MEIANZ, CEnvP

This award recognises resilience and adaptability by an EIANZ member towards the undertaking or continuation of environmental practice during COVID lockdown or restrictions.

Eric Anderson Award

Awarded to: Gillian Ainsworth & Georgette Leah Burns

This award is for the best article published in the Australasian Journal of Environmental Management (AJEM) during the year.

CEnvP Scheme Service Award

Awarded to: Olivia Woosnam CEnvP and Maclaren North MEIANZ, CEnvP (Heritage)

This award recognises contribution to the Certified Environmental Practitioner Scheme and is decided by the Certification Board.
