The SA Division Committee are delighted to congratulate two of its high achieving members, Alexandra Blood and Stewart Duncan, who have both recently been the recipients of prestigious awards.

Alexandra was named the EIANZ Environmental Practitioner of the Year for 2012 in recognition of her service to the environmental sector over more than 20 years. Alexandra has made a tangible difference to communities around the world through her work in Australia, Africa and the Asia-Pacific. With extensive experience in the areas of environmental and social impact assessment and social engagement across the oil, gas and mining sectors, she is currently leading Golder Associate’s work on both Port Spencer and the Project Fusion magnetite mine.

Stewart, a member of the SA Committee, recently graduated from the South Australian Defence Industry Leadership Program. One of 23 graduates, Stewart received the merit award for his contribution to the defence industry and the program. In recognising Stewart for his award, the program manager cited his courage of conviction, willingness to share knowledge, organisational and planning ability and exceptional leadership skills.

The SA Committee would like to again congratulate both Alexandra and Stewart and wish them continuing success with their careers.
