Since graduating from a Bachelor of Science (Environmental Science and Biology) in 2022, Rachel's professional experience has involved focusing on providing solutions for private and government agencies that require environmental and communication services across SA, NSW and VIC. In the time Rachel has been in this industry, she has worked across various projects, successfully gaining planning and environmental approvals under state and federal legislation, developing numerous environmental impact assessments in areas of urban and road infrastructure, renewables, quarries, water management, linear infrastructure, and telecommunications.
Rachel is currently working as an environmental impact assessment officer at SA Water. Her current role involves providing internal support on environmental impact and approvals for water and wastewater infrastructure. This includes ensuring the company is operating within its legislative requirements whilst also achieving the best environmental outcome.
