I bring both professional expertise and a values-driven perspective to the board. As the leader of an environmental consultancy, I have spent many years working with government, industry, and community to deliver projects that balance development needs with environmental and social responsibilities. This has reinforced the importance of ensuring that decisions reflect long-term benefit.
My experience spans project management, environmental approvals, and stakeholder engagement, often in complex and sensitive contexts. I understand the importance of good governance—clear processes, transparent communication, and accountability—as the foundation for strong outcomes. Earlier in my career, I also worked as a researcher and in land management, which deepened my understanding of evidence-based decision-making and practical on-ground challenges.
I am a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, currently serve on the board of Territory NRM, where I chair the Business Development Committee. I was President of the EIANZ NT Division from 2015 and served on the Advisory Council, where I led initiatives including a paper clarifying the alignment between Advisory Council expectations and Central Office roles, which informed a review of responsibilities.
This blend of governance experience, leadership, and values positions me to make a meaningful contribution
We acknowledge and value the rights and interests of Indigenous Peoples in the protection and management of environmental values through their involvement in decisions and processes, and the application of traditional Indigenous knowledge.
