Isobel Oldfield has been a member of EIANZ since 2012 and a Certified Environmental Practitioner since 2019. Isobel was the New Zealand Chapter Student and Early Careers Representative (2017 – 2019) before taking on the Vice-President New Zealand role on the Institute Board (2019 – present). She was awarded the Tor Hundloe Award for young environmental practitioner of the year in 2018.
Isobel has worked in the environmental profession since 2012, first as an environmental consultant and since 2019 as a policy advisor in Central Government. Isobel is currently the Lead Policy Advisor for wastewater at Taumata Arowai.
Isobel holds a Bachelor of Environmental Management and a Master of International Nature Conservation. She is passionate about all her work, including the volunteer roles she holds and is committed to furthering the profession, including supporting emerging professionals.
