Integrate Sustainability is seeking a passionate and loyal Environmental Specialist for our office in West Perth. Reporting directly to the Director, you will have the opportunity to work in a high-performing team environment that delivers innovative and effective environmental and sustainable outcomes for their clients.

Duties:

  • Review baseline studies and integrate information into approvals documents
  • Contribute to the development of management system and management actions
  • Contribute to the identification of Environmental / Social Impacts and Risks
  • Compile quality reports and approvals documents
  • Undertake research to ensure the best available knowledge is used during decision making
  • Contribute to the management of client and project information and reporting
  • Undertake spatial data analysis and mapping using GIS software
  • Coordinate baseline activity including field trip facilitation and HSE compliance
  • Participate in fieldwork as required
  • Update company manuals and procedures as required
  • Participate in company development activities to assist in attracting new business.

Skills and Experience:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science (or similar)
  • 1-5 years’ relevant experience. Graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Broad knowledge and understanding of WA and Federal environmental legislation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office suite)
  • High attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and multitask
  • Ability to work well independently and able to produce high quality of work
  • Strong time management and ability to meet conflicting deadlines
  • Previous experience using GIS software (preferable)   
  • Must have a valid driver’s licence
