VIC Division 2024 Mentoring Program

We would like to invite mentors and mentees to participate in the EIANZ Victorian Division Mentoring Program.

Why mentoring?

Have you benefited from the guidance of a senior environmental professional during your career? Now is your chance to be in the drivers seat! Would you like an opportunity to gain insight from the experience of a well-established professional in your field? The Mentoring Program offers that chance. We would like our mentees to take this chance to better understand their professional field.

EIANZ Victoria would like to help mentees connect with professional mentors through a structured Mentoring Program. We understand that the workplace can be a challenging environment to navigate and the right path is not always clear. Guidance is provided by experienced mentors that will share their technical knowledge, communication and leadership skills. For mentors, this is also a great opportunity for experienced environmental professionals to provide leadership and guidance to the next generation.

The 2024 program

The EIANZ's Victorian Division Mentoring Program will run from July to December 2024 and will include several events:

• Program introduction – meet your mentor / mentee and set yourself up for success scheduled for mid-July.
• Materials sent via email each month
• Invitation to end of year celebration as a time to reflect on your journey

How to participate?

Registrations of interest for the program are now open. Participants from all environmental professional career levels are welcome via the links below. For pairing, please complete the mentoring pairing survey in the link below before Friday 8 June 2024.

The program is free for mentees who are EIANZ members and $35 for non-member mentees. There is no charge for mentors to be part of this program. Mentee/mentor pairing will be based on survey results.

Registration is a 2-part process - please complete the mentoring pairing survey and then you must complete either the mentee or mentor registration. To be considered for the program you must complete both steps. See details below.
