Joanne is an environmental practitioner with more than 30 years’ broad experience internationally, nationally and in all Australian states, working on operational facilities and project developments and in corporate and governance environments. She has worked in technical, management and leadership roles with companies, governments and communities and in many industries including energy, water infrastructure, oil and gas, mining and minerals processing, chemicals, manufacturing and conservation.

Joanne has actively supported the environment profession throughout her career. This has included roles on local, branch and technical committees as a member of EIANZ’s CEnvP Certification Board since from 2019. Joanne has led and managed teams of environmental and social professionals in delivering environmental impact statements, environmental policy, environmental management and compliance systems, environmental risk assessments, plans and audits, and organisation-wide environmental technical services. She has chaired and been a member of several environmental forums and advisory committees.
