Dr Elizabeth Stark is a leading environmental practitioner in data science and analytics, and the Managing Director of Symbolix Pty Ltd. Her expertise is in mathematical modelling providing evidence-based science for infrastructure projects. Elizabeth is a highly effective science communicator, with a rare ability to communicate complex data modelling results into practical and plain English. She is also a published author in scientific journals and conference papers. Elizabeth’s contribution to EIANZ has included Institute Treasurer, Victorian Division committee member, and a member of the 2013 Institute conference organising committee.

As Institute Treasurer, she worked tirelessly with Central Office to improve the financial sustainability of EIANZ as an organisation. She has drafted and overseen important financial governance reforms including the Financial Delegations Policy and led a review of EIANZ’s internal systems. Elizabeth is humble and hardworking and demonstrates all the ethical qualities epitomised and expected of an EIANZ practitioner.
