David Leggatt | Partner, DLA Piper David Leggatt is an accredited specialist in commercial litigation. He is co-head of the insurance sector for DLA Piper in Australia. He was voted "Insurance Lawyer of the Year" in Victoria in the 2016 edition of Best Lawyers. His experience over the last 26 years includes civil litigation in almost every jurisdiction in Australia, all aspects of insurance law, class action defence, hundreds of professional negligence claims and numerous litigated claims/disciplinary hearings involving health professionals. David is well known for having considerable experience in professional liability and regulation, advising clients in relation to all aspects of professional liability – from advice on policy coverage, supervising defence teams in class actions, to handling litigated claims and structuring risk management programs for professional organisations. |

Natasha Stojanovich | Senior Associate, DLA Piper Natasha has a diverse insurance and commercial litigation practice, with a particular focus on professional indemnity insurance. She has handled professional indemnity claims on behalf of numerous different types of professionals. Predominantly, Natasha handles claims against property professionals and those in the building and construction industry, for instance claims against property valuers, real estate agents, architects, engineers and building surveyors. Natasha also regularly acts for statutory authorities and Councils, and has experience advising in relation to land contamination issues. Natasha has also provided advice in contentious matters to a variety of commercial clients, including several publicly listed and large multinational companies in a variety of industries. Natasha has experience handling litigation in the Federal, Supreme, County and Magistrates' Courts and at VCAT. |
