EIANZ invites you to a webinar on: Climate change, sea level rise and impacts on the distribution of globally significant coastal wetlands in Australia
Low-energy shorelines can face a range of impacts when sea levels rise with climate change. This webinar will discuss the processes involved, the causes of coastal change, impacts on infrastructure, and future climate change projections. It will look at how we need to adjust our decision-making, as well as the role of citizen science in monitoring change.
Meet the speaker:
Ruth Reef is Associate Professor, Coastal Science and Associate Dean (Undergraduate Education), Faculty of Science, in the School of Earth, Atmosphere and Environment at Monash University.
This event will run off Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST)
