The WA Division of EIANZ is pleased to present this information session in collaboration with the DWER on New Odour Guidance and Licensing Guide.
Meet the Speakers:
Ed Schuller | The Director Industry Regulation
Ed has been with the Department for six years with a heavy focus on the manufacturing, chemical, energy and animal industries of the state. In his current role, he has oversight of all the Department's work approvalss and licenses to which the Guide to licensing relates. Having previously worked as a consultant in the field of air quality monitoring, Ed brings over fifteen years' experience to the role.
Philippe Najean | Odour Expert, DWER Air Quality Section
While in France, Philippe managed an olfactometry laboratory in Paris, led the French Standardisation Committee for odour. In 2008, Philippe started a new role as odour expert at the DWER. Philippe has used his 20-year experience in chemical engineering. Since starting at the DWER Philippe has led several projects related to odour monitoring, community engagement and the development of innovative approaches for odour assessments. Philippe is a co-author of the Odour Guideline.
