EIANZ WA Division's 2024 Mentoring Program aims to connect experienced environment professionals with early career mentees seeking to further their professional development.
Professional mentoring is a powerful tool for environmental professionals at any stage of their career. For experienced professionals, being a mentor improves leaderships skills and instils confidence in their leadership ability. The responsibility of helping guide someone’s career and goals requires the mentor to teach, motivate and offer honest feedback in difficult conversations.
There is no charge for mentors to be part of this program.
As a mentor, you can:
The following eligibility criteria is proposed to ensure that the purpose and objectives of the mentoring program are more likely to be met:
Register as a mentor via the blue registration box below; and
You need to complete both parts of the registration process on or before Wednesday 20 March 2024 to be considered for this program.
Eligible mentees will be invited to the speed pairing event via Zoom. The results of the pairing survey and the speed pairing event will help us match you with a suitable mentor / mentee.
You will be notified of your mentor/mentee pairing by the end of March 2024.
If you are not successfully paired, mentees who paid a participation fee will receive a refund.
